I. Equipment name: Glow Wire Tester
II.Equipment model:YY-ZR101
III.Equipment Introductions:
The glow wire tester will heat the specified material (Ni80/Cr20) and shape of the electric heating wire (Φ4mm nickel-chromium wire) with high current to the test temperature (550℃ ~ 960℃) for 1min, and then vertically burn the test product for 30s at the specified pressure (1.0N). Determine the fire risk of electrical and electronic equipment products according to whether the test products and bedding are ignited or held for a long time; Determine the ignitability, ignitability temperature (GWIT), flammability and flammability index (GWFI) of solid insulating materials and other solid combustible materials. The glow-wire tester is suitable for the research, production and quality inspection departments of lighting equipment, low-voltage electrical appliances, electrical instruments, and other electrical and electronic products and their components.
